Make your Fantasy changes for Matchday 12
Stefan De Vrij (€5.0m) – Inter
The Inter defence has unsurprisingly been popular in Fantasy this season having conceded just one goal across their nine fixtures. Of their defensive options, De Vrij leads the way, the Dutchman amassing 59 points having started every game since Matchday 2. De Vrij has also made 55 ball recoveries, and with Inter keeping clean sheets in three of their last four games in all competitions, he represents a solid Fantasy pick on Matchday 12.
Michael Olise (€6.8m) – Bayern
Bayern take a three-goal lead into the second leg at Leverkusen and, as he has done on several occasions in the Champions League this season, Olise had an important role to play in Munich. His assist for Harry Kane's opener was his sixth attacking return in Europe this season after his five goals during the league phase. The French international has also scored in his last two league games for the Bundesliga leaders, taking him to 13 club goals in all competitions in 2024/25.
Hákon Arnar Haraldsson (€4.9m) – Lille
A budget-priced midfielder who is now becoming a permanent fixture in Lille's starting line-up, Haraldsson's low ownership offers an opportunity for Fantasy managers looking to invest in a differential on Matchday 12. Scorer of Lille's equaliser in their first-leg at Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 11, the 21-year-old won the Player of the Match award to finish on 12 points. Haraldsson has now struck three times in his last three appearances in all competitions, and could represent excellent value for money in the second leg.
Marco Asensio (€6.7m) – Aston Villa
Asensio has made a significant impact at Villa since joining on loan in January. As a result of his late goal against Club Brugge on Matchday 11, the 29-year-old has now scored five in his last four games in all competitions, despite only two of those being starts. His first-leg goal was also notable for the fact that it was from the penalty spot. Given that Ollie Watkins – Villa's usual penalty taker – was on the pitch at the time, this should indicate Asensio is now on spot-kick duty, which further boosts his Fantasy credentials.
Julián Alvarez (€8.3m) – Atlético de Madrid
The first leg of the Madrid derby contained three high-quality goals, Alvarez's strike his seventh of the Champions League campaign and a sixth in his last five appearances. The Argentina international has also scored in each of his last four club games in all competitions, registering five goals in that time. Five forwards boast a higher ownership than the Atleti striker, yet none have returned as many points in their last five Champions League appearances.
